About project
The Sustainable City Yas Island is a newly launched residential project by one of the leading development companies in the UAE capital; Aldar Properties, along with Diamond Developers. The fully sustainable and unique community will span across a territory of over 4,273,000 sq. ft in the area of Yas North. The Sustainable City on Yas Island will be developed to align with the net-zero goals of the UAE, therefore all residential units will be powered by renewable energy to achieve net-zero. Due to the agreement, the development company brings a tested model of sustainable living within a neighbourhood, and it will be the first fully operational sustainable community in the Middle East, in one of the most popular districts within the emirate of Abu Dhabi — Yas Island.
